Is the maxisys capable of disabling the GM active fuel managment "AFM"

     Is the maxisys able to disable the active fuel managment on GM vehicles and if so do you need the  J-2534 programmer.

     Ok Thanks. I have two friends that want to disable their AFM because of the excessive oil usage it causes.

    You can buy a $200.00 to $300.00 tuner that allows you to do it but they asked me if I had a way to do it and it got me wondering if Autel had that option since it is a common request from so many people with GM trucks.

    It can be done with HPTuners. I have done this before. It is also possible to convert
    these engines to the GenIII cam and lifter combination.
